Having established Graffiti Hall of Fame a s a place where artists met and collaborated in producing a large overlapping collection of murals and wildstyle Graffiti, Tony Spanos went out into Sydney and set the ball in motion for legal works to be put up.
From Newtown’s iconic “I have a Dream” mural featuring Martin Luther King to Bondi’s now famous Graffiti promenade and works in Redfern, Erskinville and South Newtown Tony’s project helped colour in Sydney’s urban environment and set the scene for a more mainstream acceptance of the artform.
A new documentary on the “I Have a Dream” mural has been made and was shown during the Sydney Fringe Festival in September 2012 more info here
